EPHESUS UNVEILED

The book of Acts chapter # 19 gives us a birds eye view of how and why the Church at Ephesus left they're First Love. The first thing we should do is examine how the Ephesians FOUND THEY'RE FIRST LOVE. They where baptized only with the knowledge of  JOHN. But John taught there's ONE coming after him WHO IS GREATER..  "And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,  He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.  And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.  Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.  When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.  And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.  And all the men were about twelve. Act 19:1-7   Now this is how they got they first Love.  When they heard the true they where Baptized in The Name Of The Lord Jesus and received The Baptism of The Holy Spirit and they also Spoke with Tongues. The Ephesians received The Lord Christ Jesus without works but with THE SPIRIT. Which produced REAL LOVE. It's impossible to LOVE OR BELIEVE IN SOMEONE (JESUS) THAT YOU HAVE NEVER MEET !  " Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;  I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are (Apostles, and are not), and hast found them liars:  And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.  Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Rev. 2:1-4     Most of us can't related or understand this kind of Love because, we have never been BAPTIZED IN JESUS NAME NOR HAVE WE SPOKE IN TONGUES. Most people really don't care what the Bible say, they do what ever is right in there own eyes. These :" Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet.  2 Peter 2:15-16
