Adams life is consistent with our lives in so many ways. It's the same as getting something new, meeting someone for the first time. In the beginning everything is great just being in side of your new car and smelling the scent is satisfying. Unfortunately our relationship with GOD is the same, we start out on fire but once the newness ware off we take on the nature of a boomerang. After crossing the Red Sea Israel's love for GOD was like a boomerang. The book of Judges gives us a clear picture of the defect that's in the heart of people. Israel which is a picture of the church could not grow in the knowledge of CHRIST.. But would boomerang right back to where they started. "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men ((( BELIEVERS ))) shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the ((( knowledge of the truth.))) 2Tim. 3:1-7
