Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and
broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and MANY there be which go in there
at: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life,
and FEW there be that find it. Matt.
7:13-14. The revelation of this scripture
has alluded me for years. Based on the number of churches that exist in the
world one would believe the way to GOD IS WIDE AND MANY ARE FINDING HIM! But reality
clearly shows many are finding the church building but few are being CONVERTED.
This truth is seen in the life of Peter 3 ½ years with Jesus experiencing one
on one tutoring and unable to find the way. Luke gives us insight in Peter’s
lack of conversion: “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold,
Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have
prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art CONVERTED,
strengthen thy brethren. And he said
unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. And
he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou
shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me. 22:31-34 I’m no longer baffled by so called
believers who are professional actors that have the ability to give great performances.
This election has revealed the hearts of these professionals that used the church
as they’re battering ram. “For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their
ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time
they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand
with their heart, and should be CONVERTED, and I should heal them.” Matt. 13:15
